Kung Fu Movie Guide Christmas Podcast 2024
Continuing the end of year tradition, I returned to the Kung Fu Movie Guide Podcast for a special seasonal show to wrap up the year. This marked the eighth year we’ve done it!
Ben and I both agree that 2024 has been a particularly strong year for fight-centric action films. We saw the return of many fan favourites: Po the panda returned in Kung Fu Panda 4, Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine returned for Deadpool & Wolverine, and many of the legends of martial arts cinema released multiple films this year, from Jean-Claude Van Damme to Cynthia Rothrock, and Jackie Chan to Scott Adkins.
As always, we count down each of our personal top five fight-centric action films released this year and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
