“Looking up to my action idols made me first hit the gym, begin training and aspire to achieve more and more from myself” - from Life of Action
Mike Fury has always nurtured a deep passion for film and, more specifically, action genre cinema. As a result, channelling his journalism background, he has written extensively on the subject which ultimately led him to conceive the book series, Life of Action, speaking first hand to world-famous actors, filmmakers and stunt people to unveil the unique process making some of the most highly regarded films of their kind. The original book was a huge success, with rave reviews and positive feedback from filmmakers, industry experts and fans all over the world. As a result, a second volume was written and published, compiling more candid stories with some of the best international talent working in front and behind the camera..

He contributes writing to product releases, such as the collectible booklet for the 4K release of Benny Chan’s final award-winning film, Raging Fire.
As an author, he also contributed two chapters in Enter the Fat Dragon: The Life and Films of Sammo Hung, the first ever book on Hong Kong’s legendary star and filmmaker.
